Belair, rue du Val Sainte-Croix. In one of Luxembourg's most established residential neighbourhoods, we are designing a twenty-three-apartment residence for the developer LuxRED. The project sits in a mature detached-housing fabric, where density has to be negotiated against both the scale of the street and the living-quality expectations of the people who will move in.
A clear residential programme
Twenty-three apartments, with no ground-floor retail, in a district whose character is residential through and through. The challenge is less the programme than the fit: proportions, massing, edges to neighbouring plots, the orientation of views.
With LuxRED
LuxRED, founded in 2020 by Aurélie Frédureau and Olivier Bastin, commissioned this scheme as one of their early residential projects in Luxembourg city. The project is currently in commercialisation.
